The State Envirothon Competition is a great way for high school students
to learn about their environment and enjoy meeting other high school students from around
the state who share the same concern for the environment that they do. The state
competition begins with schools competing against each other in a regional competition.
The top three placing schools then go on to the two day state competition. Students listen
to speakers, each discussing a different natural resources area and are immediately
quizzed on what they learned. Competition between the teams is intense and exciting and
creates a lifetime of possitive memories.
