Bob Barr, will be our speaker for the evening. Bob is a Research Scientist with Center for Earth and Environmental Science at IUPUI. His specialties include hydrology, fluvial, geomorphology, and wetland science.
The Hendricks County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Meeting is at 6:30 pm. on Tuesday, February 7th, at the Hendricks 4-H Fairground and Conference Complex in Danville.
The meeting will begin with a dinner, during the business portion of the meeting the Donald H. Lawson Award for Conservation Education will be given and the Conservation Farmer will be named. In addition, one supervisor will be elected to direct the District’s activities for the next three years.
The purpose of the meeting is to report to the citizens of Hendricks County the activities of the District for the past year. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased through the office or any of the SWCD supervisors before February 3rd. Call: (317) 745-2555 to make reservations.
