Samuel & Rebekah Lawson, will provided a program of musical entertainment for the evening. The Hendricks County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Meeting is at 6:30 pm. on Tuesday, January 19th, at the Hendricks 4-H Fairground and Conference Complex in Danville.
In the event of inclement weather, a snow date has been set for the following Tuesday, January 26th, 2010.
The meeting will begin with a dinner, during the business portion of the meeting the Donald H. Lawson Award for Conservation Education will be given and the Conservation Farmer will be named. In addition, one supervisor will be elected to direct the District’s activities for the next three years.
The purpose of the meeting is to report to the citizens of Hendricks County the activities of the District for the past year. Tickets are $3.00 and can be purchased through the office or any of the SWCD supervisors before January 15th. Call: (317) 745-2555 to make reservations.
