58th Annual Meeting

The District’s 58th
Annual Meeting was held at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference
Center in Danville on January 19, 2010. The meeting began with the meal catered
by Sandy Moore Catering and was attended by approximately 113 people from within
and surrounding Hendricks County. Jim Loughmiller presided over the annual
meeting.
The business part of the meeting reported the activities of the District and to
provide a financial report. Please look for the Annual Report insert in the
upcoming newsletter in case you missed the meeting or annual report.
Also an election was held. Brian Rutledge of Center Township was re-elected and
Jeff Healy was re-appointed, both are three-year term as Supervisor. Hendricks
Circuit Court Judge, Jeffrey V. Boles presided in giving the oath-of-office
ceremony.
Awards were given during the meeting which is always a highlight.
Recognitions were given during the meeting each participant was given a token of appreciation.
4-H Soil & Water Conservation project participants
Danville FFA Soil Judging teams - 3 teams competed in the area contest, 1 team went to the state contest and won. The state winning team will now represent Indiana at the National Land Evaluation contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in May.

Our program for the evening
was Samuel &
Rebekah Lawson, they played and sung music from Indiana
Composers from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
A good time was had by all!
